Lung Cancer Screening at Hahnemann University Hospital

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in the United States, affecting more than 200,000 people per year. Almost 90 percent of people diagnosed with lung cancer die from the disease, frequently because the cancer is not discovered until it is too advanced to cure. If lung cancer is found at an earlier stage, it is more likely to be curable. Now there is a screening test that can help find lung cancer.
