A key part of medical oncology at Hahnemann is our Bone Marrow Transplant Program. We provide bone marrow transplant as a treatment for many hematologic diseases and offer all four types: allogeneic, autologous, peripheral blood stem cell and unrelated donor patients. Hahnemann is also capable of providing “mini-transplants” for older patient with hematologic malignancies.
Hahnemann’s Bone Marrow Transplant Program is part of the National Marrow Donor Program as both a transplant and harvesting procurement site. Our team includes attending doctors, oncology fellows, medical residents, nurses, pharmacists, transplant coordinators and other support caregivers.
