Compassionate Mental and Behavioral Services
Mental and behavioral care for you and your loved ones is top priority for the Department of Psychiatry at Hahnemann University Hospital. We work to continually develop new programs to meet our client’s needs, providing behavioral health services on an emergency, inpatient, outpatient, partial-hospital and consultation basis.
Inpatient mental health services at Hahnemann are provided in our Psychiatric Medical Care Unit (PMCU), a 20-bed unit dedicated to patients with a behavioral health diagnosis and concurrent medical illness. We provide a secure, therapeutic environment where our multidisciplinary team can help address issues and work toward prompt return to home and community.
