Hahnemann University Hospital provides free language access through contracted and certified interpreting service providers, dual handset phones and video remote interpreting laptops to the patients 24 hours a day, 7 days aweek. If you or your family member needs interpretation services, please notify your healthcare provider and theywill make the necessary arrangements.
To ensure effective communication with patients and their companions who are deaf, or hard of hearing or have visual impairment, this hospital provides sign language interpreting services, telecommunication devices (TDDs), and other aids and services to persons who are deaf or hard of hearing. These services are provided by the hospital free of charge. Please ask your nurse or other facility personnel for assistance.
