Three Hahnemann University Hospital Radiology Department Members Earn Magnetic Resonance Safety Officer Certification

MRSO Photo.jpgThree Radiology Department colleagues recently earned the impressive certification as a magnetic resonance safety officer. Mary McMonagle, A.A.S., RT (R)(CT)(MR), MRSO (MRSC), MRI Supervisor; Marc Dicamillo, AAS, RT (R) (MR), MRSO (MRSC), Staff Technologist; and Liz Archut, BS, RT (MR)(N), MRSO (MRSC), Staff Technologist, received the MRSO certification from the American Board of Magnetic Resonance Safety (ABMRS).

ABMRS is an independent, not-for-profit organization working to ensure the safety of patients and healthcare staff who work with magnetic resonance equipment. ABMRS offers professional certifications for those responsible for managing the safety of clinical and research magnetic resonance sites. Earning an ABMRS certification demonstrates that an organization’s clinical staff has a comprehensive understanding of magnetic resonance general safety principles. 

In addition to Mary, Marc and Liz, Jim McKeon, BS, RT (R)(MR), MRSO (MRSC), Radiology Clinical/Informatics Operations Manager, has earned the MRSO certification from ABMRS.
