As Chairman and Clinical Service Chief for the Department of Radiologic Sciences, Dr. Hallowell oversees a staff of 240 attending physicians and care providers. He is a member of the Radiology Society of North America, American College of Radiology, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, and Society of Vascular Technology and a past president of the Greater Delaware Valley Ultrasound Society. Dr. Hallowell has been published in Academic Radiology and Clinical Nuclear Medicine and has been a frequent presenter at national meetings of the Radiological Society of North America and the American Roentgen Ray Society. He serves as an ad hoc reviewer of electronic credentialing examinations for the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.

Dr. Hallowell has been recognized with the Teacher of the Year Award by Drexel University College of Medicine.

He is certified by the American Board of Radiology and the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
