Patient Safety and Satisfaction

Patient Safety and Quality Care are paramount at Hahnemann.

Hahnemann University Hospital has been providing quality patient care to the Philadelphia community and its surrounding counties for over 160 years. At Hahnemann, patient safety and satisfaction is at the forefront of everything we do.

Hahnemann proves these efforts towards quality care by consistently ranking above state and national averages for quality scores.

Hahnemann's quality is also reflected by the number of awards and designations that the hospital has received during recent years.

The ASK ME program sponsored by Hahnemann University Hospital, urges you – the patient and your family – to get involved in your care. You, as the patient, play a vital role in making your care safe by becoming an active, involved, informed member of your health care team.

If at anytime during your stay at Hahnemann, you feel as though we are not meeting your expectations please contact your nursing director. In the event, you feel you need to speak to someone in Hospital Administration regarding your care, call:

(215) 762-3558

Grievances may also be filed with the Pennsyvlania Department of Health Services and/or the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization (Joint Commision) regardless of whether the patient uses the hospital's grievance policy.
