Hahnemann Signs New Agreement with MultiPlan

Philadelphia – June 26, 2008 – Hahnemann University Hospital announced today that it has signed a multi-year agreement with MultiPlan, Inc. that includes participation in the PHCS (formerly Private Healthcare Systems) network. The new agreement, which includes the hospital and its outpatient services, begins July 1, 2008.  Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.  

“We look forward to serving the patients who are members of the PHCS network,” said Michael Halter, chief executive officer of Hahnemann University Hospital. “Our hospital provides these patients with a wide array of programs and services designed to meet their health care needs including nationally recognized cardiac care, trauma services, solid organ transplantation, orthopedics, neurology and neurosurgery.
