The Department of Radiology offers services 24 hours a day to inpatients and emergency patients of all ages: 12 hours per day to outpatients in the main campus and 9 hours per day in the outpatient center. Range of practice encompasses diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, invasive/interaoperative and non-invasive techniques, and modalities using ionizing and nonionizing radiation with and without the use of contrast media.

Portable radiographic equipment allows radiographs to be obtained in surgery as well as medical, surgical, and cardiac intensive care units or wherever medically necessary on inpatients floors. Portable fluoroscopy is available in the surgical suites as well as the Heart Transplant Center, Cardiac floor, and Endoscopy unit.
