PHILADELPHIA, May 30, 2006 – Hahnemann University Hospital is proud to announce its oncology program has received a full, Three-Year with Commendation approval from the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons (ACoS).
Established in 1922, the Commission on Cancer’s Approvals Program sets quality-of-care standards for cancer facilities ensuring these institutions conform to ACoS regulations in providing oncology patients a high level of quality cancer care.
