Holiday Season to Arrive Early for Chinatown Children

Chinese American Women’s Sisterhood Society and Hahnemann University Hospital Join Together to Spread Holiday Cheer    

PHILADELPHIA, December 6, 2006 – The Chinese American Women's Sisterhood Society of Philadelphia (CAWSS) will hold their Fifth Annual Holiday Party for Chinatown Community Children at Hahnemann University Hospital on Saturday, December 16, 2006, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  2006 marks the fifth consecutive year Hahnemann University Hospital has hosted this special holiday tradition.            

Along with festive music and entertainment, 30 children, ages 4 - 8, will each receive gifts from Santa Claus as they share a holiday meal with their families and CAWSS board members.             

 “Our hospital staff is thrilled to host this special holiday event for these young and deserving members of our patient community,” said Michael P. Halter, president and chief executive officer, Hahnemann University Hospital.  “We are looking forward to seeing bright smiles on the children’s faces as we celebrate the season along with the new year ahead.”
